Redbridge Heritage Centre is temporarily closed

Following the recent advice from the government and Public Health England surrounding COVID-19, Redbridge Heritage Centre will be closed to the public from 19 March. All events and activities will also be suspended until further notice.

While we are closed, we will continue to have a presence online and our staff will continue to work remotely.

The health and well-being of our visitors, staff and community are of utmost importance to us and this decision is in response to increasing concerns surrounding COVID-19. We will continue to closely review the advice from Public Health England and monitor the current situation to keep people up to date on our plans.

About the Heritage Service

The Heritage Service is on the second floor in Redbridge Central Library. It is free to use and offers a diverse range of local and family history resources. Many of these general resources including books, historic newspapers and online resources are available during normal Library opening times. For a specific enquiry, to view historic photographs or archives you must make a booking in advance.
