King Charles III has announced the ceremony will take place on Monday 19 September 2022, (a national bank holiday) to mark the end of the 10-day period of national mourning.
Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure will close all leisure centres, libraries and all other cultural facilities and services. This bank holiday will allow individuals to pay their respects to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II who was an inspiration to the nation with life full of service and generosity.
All of our parks and open spaces will remain open, however, the car parks will be closed except for Fairlop Waters and Hainault Forest. The following facilities within our parks will also be closed; The Green Café at Christchurch Green and, Owls Play Centre and Fairlop Boathouse at Fairlop Waters.
