Black History Month • Vision RCL

Black History Month

This October, Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure, in partnership with Redbridge Council and local community organisations, is proud to celebrate Black History Month with a diverse array of events across the borough.

Redbridge Libraries have curated a rich programme of activities for all ages. Join us for events that aim to highlight and celebrate members of the Black community within Redbridge, others that look to share personal experiences and family histories and some that spotlight unique aspects of cultures from Africa and the Caribbean.

This year, Redbridge Libraries are proud to be part of the national tour of the Black British Ballet Project, a touring exhibition and exciting activity programme sharing the hidden stories of black dancers in British ballet. Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Brought to you by Libraries Connected and Oxygen Arts.
