This February, Vision Redbridge invites the community to join a vibrant celebration of LGBT+ History Month, a month-long tribute to the history, achievements, diversity and resilience of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. February’s programme brings together performances, talks, creative workshops, heritage activities and family-friendly sessions across libraries and venues in Redbridge.
Highlights include storytelling and comedy evenings that explore identity and lived experiences, thought-provoking author conversations, creative meet-ups with local LGBTQ+ groups, heritage-focused craft sessions, and engaging activities for children and young people. There are also opportunities to explore LGBT+ history and culture online – from specially curated digital collections to film and reading resources available via Vision’s Virtual Library.
Whether you’re keen to laugh, learn, create or connect, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion in the borough throughout February.
