About the park
Clayhall Park is a mature well-landscaped park set in the heart of one of Ilford’s premier residential areas and one of our Green Flag Award Parks. There is a formal rose garden, pagoda and an impressive avenue of mature horse chestnut trees. Complete with a small maze with wheelchair access, the Rose Garden provides beautiful scenery and a relaxing escape from the rest of the park. The Park also has 2 play areas for younger children and for older children and tennis courts.

Green Flag Award Park
The national standard for parks and open spaces in England and Wales recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country with Green Flag Status.
Clayhall Park has retained its Green Flag Status for 2022 and has gained automatic entry into the People’s Choice Awards 2022. Vote for Clayhall Park in the People’s Choice Awards from 1-31 October.


Outdoor Gym
Clayhall Park features an outdoor gym which is free to use and fun way to stay way to stay active whilst getting some fresh air. By using the outdoor gyms frequently this will enable you to maintain/lose weight, strengthen your body, increase your fitness levels and improve mental wellbeing.

Tennis
Thanks to funding from LTA and the UK Government renovation of tennis courts in Redbridge Parks is now underway with some nearly completed.
Cost to hire the courts:
- Monday – Friday up to 12noon – FREE
- Monday – Friday 12-5pm – £2.50
- Monday – Friday 5pm to closing & weekends – £5
Car Parking
Car parking available at this site, payment via RingGo. No cash payments accepted.
Motorcycles can park for free provided they are parked within a bay.
