About the facility
Loxford Leisure Centre is a dual use community facility. Shared with Loxford School of Science & Technology, the leisure centre opens at 5.30pm during term time and all day at weekends and during school holidays.
We run women only and women & children only swimming sessions. The pool hall at Loxford is enclosed with no external viewing and we will try to provide female lifeguards during these sessions. However there may be times where this is not possible and there will be male lifeguards present during these sessions. Please feel free to contact us beforehand to enquire if we will have female lifeguards for the session you are interested in.
Badminton courts are available to hire by the hour, as is the whole sports hall and the all-weather pitch. If you are interested in booking any of the facilities either by the hour or for a long term period, please contact us at the centre.

We offer swimming lessons for children ages 3+ and follow the official Swim England Learn to Swim Framework. So whether your child is a beginner or has completed swimming lessons before, we can help.

We have lots of availability to hire our badminton courts at Loxford Leisure Centre. Play both singles and doubles with family and friends from just £10.70.
Astro Turf Pitch
Our 3G all weather pitch is suitable for a range of activities including football matches, both 11 and 7 a-side, birthday parties and school sports sessions.

Beach Courts at Loxford Park
Are you ready to elevate your beach experience to a whole new level of excitement and activity?
Our versatile beach courts are ideal for local clubs looking for different team sport experience from volleyball to beach soccer. Please note equipment is not included in the hire fee.

Loxford Sensory Playground
The Loxford Sensory Playground was installed at Loxford Leisure Centre in 2022.
It’s a great asset for children, especially those with sensory needs as well as for the children accessing the pre school during the day. The facility is accessible to the public during the same opening hours as the leisure centre.
The equipment enables stimulation of the senses in different capacities and includes: musical chimes; storytelling corner; tactile sensory panels; sensory spinners; and a sensory circuit, including a slide, balance beams, stepping posts and a clatter bridge.
