Important COVID-19 Information
All parks and open spaces across Redbridge are open for daily exercise and fresh air.
Our play areas across Redbridge parks are open. Cafes are running a takeaway only service. From Monday 29 March, sports courts (including MUGA and basketball) and outdoor gyms will reopen and outdoor sports (football/cricket) can resume. Bowls/Cricket can resume with their planned seasons on Saturday 17 April.

About the park
The park has a diverse tree collection including a 300 year old field maple, ornamental gardens, flowering meadows and a network of accessible paths for you to enjoy. There are two children’s play areas as well as two different cafes with a great selection of food and beverages. Valentines Park is our premiere award winning park securing the prestigious Green Flag, and has just been voted by the public as one of the Top Ten parks in the country in the People’s Choice Award for the fifth time.
The new outdoor gym at Valentines Park is open
With 15 pieces of equipment and a total of 20 work stations it is one of the biggest in London!
Barbecues are not permitted at any of our parks and open spaces.
Activities in the park
We have a range of weekly activities taking place at Valentines Park such as parkrun, Dementia Walks and Talk and Tennis Coaching. For more information see our regular activities timetable.
