Menopause Awareness Community (MAC)
Join us at MAC (Menopause Awareness Community) to learn, share experiences and support each other through the journey of menopause.
We are continuing our peer-to-peer support group focusing on the menopause, and you are invited to be part of it.
The menopause affects people of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds. Its impact can be felt by those experiencing it and those around them.
Have you been through the menopause? Are you currently experiencing it? Or would you like to learn more about it? The Menopause Awareness Community (MAC) is the perfect group for you. Our aim is to increase awareness of the menopause and provide a space to discuss all aspects of it.
On Saturday, 12 October as part of Black History Month, the group will attend the Iroko African Drumming for Wellbeing in the Children’s Library from 1pm to 2pm.
You are welcome to attend all or just some of the sessions.
MAC is a community-run group facilitated by local volunteers, organised in partnership with Redbridge Libraries.
We look forward to meeting you!
Suitable for adults 18+
Hot and cold drinks will be provided.
We welcome input from anyone with expertise on this topic who would like to give a short presentation, provide information, or offer a workshop at a session. Please email library.information@visionrcl.org.uk if you would like to contact the organisers.
