We are excited to Welcome Nicola Rayner author of ‘The Paris Dancer’ as part of our Woman’s History Month celebrations.

Nicola Rayner, a talented novelist and dance writer based in London, is making waves in the literary world. Her debut novel The Girl Before You was hailed by The Observer as a debut to watch in 2019. The gripping story, which has been optioned for television and translated into multiple languages, showcases her captivating storytelling. Following this success, her second novel, You and Me, was published in 2020.

With nearly two decades of experience as a journalist, Nicola has established herself as a respected voice in the dance world, writing extensively on the subject. A lifelong dancer herself, she continues to explore a variety of styles—from ballroom to breakdance—with passion and flair. Nicola Rayner’s unique blend of literary talent and deep connection to the world of dance makes her work a must-read for fans of both.

Her latest book is Inspired by the incredible true story of a Jewish ballroom dancer in Paris during World war II, ‘The Paris Dancer’ tells the story of Annie, Esther and Miriam as we follow how Miriam discovers her great aunt Esthers past during the War in France.
