Fabula Festival 2019
About Fabula Festival
Redbridge’s annual Fabula Festival is a unique celebration of the arts and libraries and their power to transform lives. It is delivered through a programme of performances, children’s events, author talks, films, writing programmes, workshops and specially commissioned arts projects. It is designed to encourage Redbridge residents to participate in a range of new and exciting activities delivered by brilliant partners showcasing the very best in literature, music, drama, dance, film, art and technology. There’s something for all ages, tastes and abilities!
Thanks to generous funding from Arts Council England, this year the festival is even bigger and better as we celebrate the power of libraries during National Libraries Week.
Libraries Week 2019 celebrates the role of libraries in the digital world and explores how libraries engage communities through technology, building digital skills and confidence, encouraging digital participation and inclusion, supporting health, wellbeing and education and supporting local business and enterprise. We are excited to share the digital innovation taking place in Redbridge Libraries.
Fabula Festival is curated and produced by Redbridge Library & Culture Service, managed by Vision RCL on behalf of Redbridge Council.
Thank you to all of our partners for their support!
