We’re a friendly group who meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 2pm to 3.15pm. We usually dive into fiction, but sometimes throw in a non-fiction gem for good measure.
You can join us in-person at the library or online via Teams.
If joining us in-person at the library, you’re welcome to bring a drink in a covered cup – biscuits are provided.
Here are the remaining 2026 dates and some of our exciting themes:
📅 4 November – The book for discussion is ‘State of Wonder’ by Ann Patchett.
Deep in the Brazilian rainforest, enigmatic scientist Dr Annick Swenson is developing a drug that could transform women’s lives. When the colleague sent to investigate the doctor’s work dies mysteriously, Marina Singh follows in his footsteps, determined to uncover the truth. State of Wonder is a compelling tale of science, secrecy, love and discovery.
📅 2 December
