Families across Redbridge are being invited to enjoy a packed programme of activities this February Half Term, with a wide range of events designed to keep children active, creative and entertained throughout the school holiday.
Organised by Vision Redbridge, the half-term programme includes swimming sessions, creative workshops, outdoor nature activities and affordable family film screenings – offering something for all ages.
Make a Splash with Swim Crash Courses
Swimming crash courses will be running throughout half term at Loxford Leisure Centre and Mayfield Leisure Centre. These intensive courses are suitable for children from beginner Ducklings level through to Stage 3, helping young swimmers build confidence and improve their skills in the water.
Explore Nature at Hainault Forest
Families looking to enjoy the outdoors can head to Hainault Forest, where a range of hands-on nature activities will be taking place during half term.
Children can join Feed the Farm tours, giving them the chance to meet and learn about the animals while helping with feeding time. There will also be creative environmental activities, including Build Your Own Bird Box workshops and crafting for nature sessions, encouraging young people to learn about wildlife and conservation in a fun and practical way.
Family Films for February Half Term
Vision RCL is also offering low-cost cinema screenings, making it easy for families to enjoy a trip to the movies during the school holidays.
Tickets cost just £2 for children and £4 for adults, providing great-value entertainment for all the family.
Popular K-Pop Demon Hunters Workshops Now Fully Booked
The K-Pop Demon Hunters Workshop Days at Redbridge Drama Centre have proven extremely popular this February Half Term and are now fully booked.
Taking place on Monday 17 February (Reception to Year 2) and Tuesday 18 February (Years 3 to 6), the high-energy workshops combine dance, drama and storytelling inspired by K-pop choreography, giving children the chance to build confidence, creativity and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join the waiting list, as spaces may become available closer to the event dates.
