International Women’s Week


Join us for International Women’s Week, commencing on Monday 6 March 2023, celebrating education and awareness of women’s identities and gender issues, focusing on eradicating the gender bias and celebrating women’s roles in society and achievements of women.

In celebration of International Women’s Week Redbridge Drama Centre are hosting a number of performances throughout the week:

Scratch Night

Scratch Night:
Wednesday 8 March

Join us for a night of emerging artists with brand new talent taking to the stage. Scratch Night provides the opportunity for poets, spoken word artists or musicians to take to the stage. In this special Scratch Night all pieces must be specifically written by, about or directed by women.

For artists this is a great opportunity to showcase new work, and receive constructive feedback in order to grow and develop for future performances.

The Funny Mummy

The Funny Mummy:
Friday 10 March

Alyssa Kyria aka The Funny Mummy is the co-creator of Bring Your Own Baby Comedy, and performs to parents across the UK, is now taking to the stage in a giggle-filled performance. For parents new and old, this performance is perfect for you.

Join us as this performance showcases her new material, specially for International Women’s Week.
