Throughout October, Vision has several children events from Black History Month, Half Term activities (24 October to 28 October) and spooky Halloween events – join us, if you dare!

Swim Crash Courses
This half term we will be running our swimming crash courses at Mayfield and Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre, which are suitable for children 5 and above. These classes are at different stages, from stage 1 (beginner) to stage 4 (intermediate). Your child can learn to swim with Vision this half term.
Cycling Crash Courses
Redbridge Cycling Centre is offering basic to intermediate Cycling Courses this half term. Your children could make the most out of this Half Term by learning a new skill or adding to their existing skills. From Balance Bike Skills to Mountain Bike Skills. Theatre
If your child would prefer a more relaxing half term, then the Kenneth More Theatre and Redbridge Drama Centre have got plenty to do.
Join the Kenneth More Theatre as they bring prehistoric animals to life with the Dinosaur Show, packed with fun, facts, and laughter, this is something your child will love!
Get ready to shake, shiver and scream at Redbridge Drama Centre this October with Shivers and Shadows. Children are expected to receive a hilarious show filled with delightful frights and scary stories. Perfect way to start off Halloween Weekend.
Black History Month
Did you know October is Black History Month? Vision Libraries have several events to celebrate and educate on Black history. Throughout October libraries have hosted many events for the Redbridge public and as well as adult events, there are plenty of children events for your children to attend this half term, some including; Pop n Paint Superheroes, and Stories with Wendy Shearer.

Hainault Forest
Things are getting spooky this half term at Hainault Forest as we are celebrating Halloween at the forest and hosting scary stories in the dark. Expect a half term to remember with Halloween at Hainault Forest, Stories in the Dark and Little Acorns Halloween. Kids, you’ll be horrified to miss out!
Fairlop Waters
Come down to Fairlop Waters where your children will be able to have a boogie at the Halloween Disco, which is fancy dress and a Halloween Trail.
Fancy something for your little ones? Owls Play Centre has a fancy dress Halloween Party.
Valentines Mansion
The spookiness continues at Valentines Mansion as they host several Halloween events. Ghoulish Garlands, Spooky Puppets and Terrifying Tales. Kids, come dressed as your favourite scary character and join us at Valentines Mansion this October.
