Following a routine structural assessment last year, Redbridge Council identified the presence of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in the roof above the swimming pool and surrounding areas. This material has been the focus of national safety guidance, and in line with that advice, we made the precautionary decision to close the pool and gym area while we carry out further investigations and planning.

There’s plenty to enjoy in the meantime, here’s what’s available:

• Changing rooms (please note: only one is available, so this will be a shared facility for all customers)
• Group exercise classes (limited availability up to 3 daily per person)
