Access and Inclusion
Redbridge Outdoor Arts is developing the access and inclusion offer across the programme. Through offering pre-show relaxed tours, distributing easy-reads, relaxed intro videos and photo’s to enable familiarisation for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as neurodiverse adults.
During autumn 2021, Redbridge experienced a range of mesmerising light installations, breath-taking performances and magical, playful sculptures.
Our first event Museum of the Moon took place on 17 to 19 September in the beautiful grounds of Valentines Mansion. This exhibition featured a spectacular piece of artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram which has been presented all around the world, we had approximately 3,000 visitors that came to view this wonderful exhibition. Museum of the Moon has been supported by Without Walls and commissioned by Brighton Festival, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival and Norfolk & Norwich Festival.
Take a look at our video below for more about the exhibition.
The programme of events continued through out October 2021, including events such as On Edge parkour, Distant Drums exhibition celebrating Black History Month and Recovery Poems.
