Mildmay Nursery managed by Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure, blew the Ofsted inspector away at the Nursery’s recent Ofsted inspection in May.
The nursery, which is based in Mildmay House, in Ilford was last inspected in October 2017, where it received Outstanding in all areas. 5 years on, the nursery has demonstrated yet again, that it offers high quality early years child-care, by being awarded its second consecutive Outstanding grade.
The inspector’s report states that the nursery is outstanding in all areas of its operations, including the leadership and management along with the quality of the education that the children receive and the progress that they make in all areas of their development.
The inspector was particularly impressed with the warm and caring environments provided by staff and the support provided to children with special educational needs. At this nursery, children of all abilities are encouraged to achieve their very best, with parents being supported to extend their children’s learning at home.
This grading comes at a time where sadly many operators are having to close their settings due to the impacts of Covid, escalating costs and insufficient early years funding.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the team at Mildmay Nursery have continued to deliver high quality education and care, always putting the interests of the children first and creating a safe home from home atmosphere.
The outstanding grade is a testament to the dedication of the whole team involved in running the nursery who have steered it through the turbulence of the last few years. It remains committed to delivering high quality early years care to the families of Redbridge.
In July, the nursery will be saying goodbye to children who will be leaving to start primary school in September. Applications for the new academic year are now open, with an Open Day on the 21 July for prospective families to come and look around.
Please contact Mildmay Nursery on 0208 514 0901 if you would like to make an appointment to see the nursery.
