Vision Theatre — Tickets and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and responsibilities when buying and using tickets for theatre shows. By purchasing or using a ticket you accept these terms.

Tickets and Admittance

  • Valid ticket required. A valid ticket must be produced by each Customer to gain entry. Tickets must be retained while on the premises and shown to staff on request. Failure to produce a valid ticket may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue.
  • Ticket checks. Tickets may be scanned or inspected on entry and at any time during your visit.
  • Seat allocation. Your ticket shows the seat or area allocated to you. We may, in exceptional circumstances, provide alternative seating of equivalent value.
  • Children. Children aged 16 and over may attend unaccompanied. Children under 16 must be accompanied in the auditorium by an adult aged 18 or over.

Accessibility, Companion Tickets and Concessions

  • Companion tickets. If you identify as disabled and require a companion or carer to attend, Vision offers a free companion ticket where appropriate. Companion tickets are not available online and must be booked by calling our Box Office on 020 8708 8800. We may request proof of eligibility; acceptable documents include (but are not limited to): DLA/PIP front page, Certificate of Visual Impairment, Carer’s Allowance, War Disablement Pension, AFIP, Continuing Healthcare Package, Dual Sensory Impairment, Blue Badge, Disabled Railcard, CEA Card, recognised assistance dog ID, or other international disability documents.
  • Concessions. Concession tickets are available for customers aged 60+, registered disabled customers, and full‑time students. Proof of eligibility may be required at point of purchase or on entry.
  • Education groups. Education group bookings may be reserved and invoiced. Payment must be received by the deadline we provide (typically within 2 weeks of reservation). If payment is not received by the deadline we reserve the right to release the tickets for resale.

Pricing, Levies and Fees

  • Ticket price. Ticket prices are shown at the time of purchase and include any applicable taxes and fees.
  • Maintenance levy. Certain events may include a maintenance levy of up to £1.50. This is a ring‑fenced amount that goes directly to Vision to support venue upkeep and improvements.
  • Service fees. Additional booking or delivery fees may apply and will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Cancellations, Exchanges and Refunds

  • No general refunds. Tickets are non‑refundable once purchased except where these terms state otherwise or where required by law.
  • Transfers. If you cannot attend, we may, at our absolute discretion, transfer your tickets to another performance of the same production provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Resale credit. Where an event is sold out, we may offer refunds or account credit if we are able to resell your tickets; this is at management’s discretion.
  • Event cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel or alter an advertised programme, start time or cast where necessary due to unavoidable causes. If an event is cancelled, customers will be refunded the cost of the tickets.
  • Postponement/rescheduling. If an event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date. We will make reasonable efforts to contact ticket holders. If you purchased tickets before the postponement and do not wish to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund by contacting us at least seven days before the rescheduled performance.

Attendance, Conduct, Comfort and Safety

  • Late admission. Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance to minimise disruption. Patrons who leave after the performance has started may be asked to wait in the foyer until re‑admission is appropriate.
  • Right to refuse admission. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to require any ticket holder to leave the premises for safety, security, or behavioural reasons.
  • Prohibited items. For safety and to avoid disruption, Vision may prohibit items including, but not limited to: open drink containers, alcohol, professional cameras, large bags/suitcases, weapons, explosives, horns, whistles, large umbrellas, light‑up/flashing toys, or any items requested to be prohibited by performers or their management.
  • No cloakroom. Our venues do not provide cloakroom facilities and cannot store large bags or suitcases. Please keep belongings with you at all times.
  • Recording. The use of audio or visual recording equipment during performances is strictly prohibited unless stated otherwise at the start of a show.
  • Special effects. Productions may include strobe lighting, smoke, loud noises or simulated gunshots. Notices will be displayed where these effects are used.
