Exciting news – hard work is taking place to prepare the site for the re-opening on Monday 21 June. The lake and boats are looking great, ready for new adventures on the water!
The lake is not open to the public for water sport (swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing etc.) Members of Fairlop Sailing, Windsurfing and Rowing Clubs please contact your officials to confirm arrangements and season tickets.
Fairlop Waters Country Park provides an opportunity for sailing throughout the year. For those with their own dinghies, you are able to obtain an annual pass from the Boat House and we can also offer annual
Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre offers coaching, R.Y.A courses, race sessions and equipment for those wishing to sail. Session times vary throughout the season and include after-school clubs, evening racing and weekends. There is also a varied school holiday programme available. They are also able to offer group sessions for schools, Scouts & Guides, Youth Groups etc.
Fairlop Outdoor Activity has a range of kayaks, canoes and paddle boards as well as opportunities to experience dragon and bell boats. You can opt to pay as you go or take out an inclusive annual membership. B.C.U. courses are often run throughout the season, as well as holiday programmes. Group sessions can also be arranged.
Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre offers rowing boats and Katakanus for hire on an hourly basis at weekends, bank holidays and during school holidays.
You are able to buy an annual pass from the Boat House at Fairlop Waters Country Park. You must have your own equipment and the lake is available to use until dusk. There is a club based at Fairlop Waters, please visit the Boat House for more information.
