Do you love to sing? Join us on an incredible journey through some of the most well known and loved musicals! Develop your singing and performance skills and round off the team performing an edited version of a classic musical – previous projects include We Will Rock You, Elf The Musical, Dear Even Hansen and the productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Schwartz.

Performing Arts

Ages: Reception to Year 6
A great foundation for those in school years Reception – Year 6 looking to develop their skills and have a really great time doing so and meeting new friends. Led by a drama teacher and a musical director the sessions will show how to make the most entertaining way to tell a story. Each week the children will cover aspects of singing, dancing and drama in fun filled and energetic sessions. They produce a private showcase for family and friends at the end of each term.

MT Choreo Club
Wednesday: 4pm to 5pm @ Redbridge Drama Centre
Age: School Year 3 to Year 6
Join our Musical Theatre Choreography class and let’s transform iconic routines into viral sensations! Learn choreography each term to an iconic Musical Theatre routine, then film the routine in full costume at the end of term and get a copy to keep.

Acrobatics Skills

Acro is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. During acro classes your child will be trained in skills such as flexibility, strength, and control to perform tricks, balances, and tumbling.

Dance Academy: Street Dance
Thursday: 4:45pm to 5:45pm @ Redbridge Drama Centre
Age: School Year 3 to Year 6
Teaching young dancers elements of Hip Hop, Jazz and Street Dance, classes improve fitness, coordination, balance and control. Children can learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends.

Actors Academy
Saturday: 10:00am to 12:00pm @ Redbridge Drama Centre
Age: Reception to Year 6
A fun packed Saturday morning drama school. Learn drama skills and social skills in age related groups while making new friends and having a wonderful time. Our courses are run by experienced drama practitioners.
The children work on a different theme every term – previous themes include Shakespeare, Roald Dahl, poems and short stories. The strategies used include story making, improvisation, individual, pair and group work, developing speaking and listening skills, building self-esteem and confidence and the use of drama conventions. On the last session of each term family and friends are invited to see a private sharing of the children’s work.

Redbridge Creates Performing Arts Academy

Age: School Year 3 to Year 11
An all-round experience for those keen to develop their dance, drama and singing skills. The afternoon sessions are split between each one of those areas and are energetic and exciting ways to explore the performing arts. This class works towards an annual public performance.

Aerial Class

Trinity Musical Theatre
Wednesdays: 4:30pm to 6:00pm @ Redbridge Drama Centre
Age: School Year 3 to Year 6
Official Musical Theatre qualifications are available alongside this course, provided by Trinity College London. You can opt in to work on Grades 1-8 in Musical Theatre alongside this class. We have a 100% pass rate with over 60% of candidates gaining a distinction in their grade.
Explore the world of musical theatre and expand your acting, singing and dancing skills. With a combination of working together as cast members and enhancing individual repertoires, this course is a fun-filled way to learning how to be a “triple threat” performer.Students in Year 3 and above will spend the Spring and Summer Term working towards their Musical Theatre Qualification with the final exam taking place in the Summer Term.
