Wanstead Leisure Centre has scooped the award for Most Improved performer in Sport and Leisure Facility Management at The Association of Public Service Excellence (APSE) Awards.

APSE Performance Networks benchmarks the operational performance of leisure centres on a national basis in ‘like for like’ family groups.

The award was based on Wanstead Leisure Centre’s overall performance across a wide range of indicators during the financial year 2018/2019 and the manager Stephanie Hahn, along with Duty Manager Adeniyi Aderinola, were delighted to collect the award at the APSE conference in Blackpool on the 5 December.
