Upcoming Events
The Redbridge Ukrainian Community Centre is a partnership initiative involving Vision RCL , Work Redbridge and LBR Homes 4 Ukraine.
Our goal is to help Ukrainians successfully integrate into society, feel more confident, and protected. This is a place where you can find support with looking for work, enrol onto free English courses, receive legal advice, or business support, discover children’s courses, or psychological support for teenagers.

Christmas Blowing – Glass Bauble at Hainault Forest
You will choose your favourite colours to include in your Bauble, and work with a skilled glassblower to create your piece from molten glass. You will be given full guidance and support through the process, which involves you blowing the glass, picking up the colours into the hot glass and creating the loop on the top of your bauble. When your piece is finished it will go into our kiln at 450C to anneal.
Your glass bauble will need to cool down slowly for 24 hours, and you will be advised when it is ready to be picked up.

Ukrainian Dance
We are excited to invite you to our dance classes. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to improve their physical fitness, develop flexibility and coordination, all in a friendly and supportive environment.
In these classes, children will:
- Learn the basics of dance
- Work on flexibility and strength
- Master important techniques and exercises
- Have a chance to socialize and make new friends
All classes will be conducted under the guidance of an experienced coach who will ensure safe and effective training.

Ukrainian Craft Studio
We invite you to join our exciting craft class, perfect for both children and adults! Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll learn various crafting techniques and explore different materials. Together, we will create unique handmade items, from decorations and accessories to festive souvenirs, using a variety of materials like paper, fabric, and more.
This class is suitable for beginners and those with crafting experience. Come and enjoy a creative atmosphere, learn new skills, and leave with a beautiful creation made by your own hands!

Ukrainian Youth Club for 11-16 year olds
We invite teenagers aged 11-16 to join the Ukrainian Youth Club Hub4Teen.
We look forward to engaging discussions, fun games, and the opportunity to find your own “community” where you can make friends, give and receive support, and learn the skills necessary for a comfortable life.

Art Studio with Liliya Zapotozka
Here, everyone—both children and adults—can express their artistic talents. If you dream of painting with oil or mastering various techniques, we invite you to join us!
The studio is led by Liliya Zapotozka, a talented artist and experienced instructor with over 20 years of experience. She is skilled in oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, clay modeling, weaving, face painting, and embroidery. Her students have repeatedly achieved victories in competitions.

English for Ukrainians
Free 5-week English language and weekly employment programme for Ukrainians.
This programme designed to help you improve your English and find employment in the UK.
It’s delivered in Partnership with Work Redbridge and Redbridge Institute of Adult Education and is completely free for all participants.
It’s open for anyone from Ukraine who is over 18 and arrived in the UK on either the Homes for Ukraine scheme, the Ukraine family scheme, or is on the Ukraine Extension scheme.
The programme includes:
☑️ 5 weeks of 2.5 hour every Friday English classes by Redbridge institute, with options to take the lessons morning and lunch time.
☑️ Weekly employment support with a dedicated employment advisor, to support with: CV writing, job applications, interview prep, support with job search, and specialist workshops.
☑️ All classes face to face, and teacher led. They are streamed so you will be with classmates at a similar level.
