Wellness Day Success at Redbridge Central Library

What are you looking for today?

We had a fantastic turnout at our first Wellness Day at Redbridge Central Library on Tuesday 14 April, welcoming over 300 attendees from the local community.

The event featured fully booked 1:1 InBody consultations, giving participants valuable insight into their body composition. Attendees also had the opportunity to use equipment independently on the ground floor, take part in engaging workshops including seated yoga and Zumba Gold, and attend expert-led talks on fitness, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

InBody Session
We heard from Francessca from InBody, who introduced their advanced body composition diagnostics machine. This technology goes beyond weight or BMI, helping individuals understand key health markers such as body fat and muscle mass—empowering them to make more informed decisions about their wellbeing.

Matrix Fitness – Headline Sponsor
Bridget from Matrix Fitness delivered an inspiring session on the strong connection between physical activity, mental health, and overall wellbeing. Their talk highlighted how movement can boost mood, energy, and resilience, reinforcing that staying active looks different for everyone.

A special thank you to Bridget from Matrix, who kindly handed out free merchandise to attendees.

Nutrable – Women’s Health Focus
Mike from Nutrable led an interactive and insightful discussion on women’s health, focusing on hormone balance before, during, and after menopause. This session created a safe and open space for conversation, education, and practical advice on a vital but often misunderstood stage of life.

In addition to the talks and workshops, attendees explored a range of wellness stalls, including health checks, breast cancer screening, and advice from North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) on MMR vaccinations.

Many participants found the InBody assessments particularly valuable, helping them identify areas to improve their health and wellbeing.

The event was such a huge success that we look forward to continuing our partnership with Matrix and our other supporters in the near future.
