Vision RCL has been successful in their application to join the Touring Network Partnership from 2023 to 2026, joining 17 organisations from across England including Local Authorities, Arts Council NPO’s and Creative People and Places projects that are committed to touring Without Walls shows to neighbourhoods, town centres and high streets across England.
Joining the network will enable Vision to program dynamic, exciting and new outdoor arts, bringing high quality, spectacular, fun and reflective experiences to the Redbridge Outdoor Arts programme. Offering additional funding opportunities for audience development and community engagement, delivery of the Discover in a Day Arts Award and support for data collection to enable a robust evaluation. As well as a commitment to support partners to embed Equality Diversity & Inclusion, environmental sustainability, and access into their projects.
Redbridge Outdoor Arts is a season of free, local, accessible, and thought-provoking outdoor arts events for all the community to enjoy together, discovering connections within the community through a shared experience as audience, participant and artist.
Redbridge Outdoor Arts will run from May to October 2023 in Barkingside High Street and Ilford Town Centre, the programme will be announced in Spring 2023.
Chair of Vision Trustees, Martin Soldier said:
Redbridge Outdoor Arts is a magnificent programme, bringing the Redbridge community together with free outdoor arts performances. These wonderful experiences have included artists such as Strong Lady and Jeanefer Jean Charles’ Black Victorians, On Edge parkour and the breath-taking installation Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram. Vision RCL would like to give a special thanks to our partners Without Walls and Arts Council England for extending this partnership for a further three years
