Redbridge Libraries and Culture team are celebrating after being recognised in this year’s Libraries Connected Awards.
The Libraries Connected Awards recognise the work of library staff who are making a real difference in their communities. The winners were announced this month at a glitzy ceremony at the Chesford.
Sarah Jones, Culture Engagement & Participation Officer from Redbridge Libraries named winner of Share the Vision Award category 2026. Sarah has championed accessibility through live audio description and inclusive cultural programming, ensuring library spaces and exhibitions can be fully experienced by blind and visually impaired visitors.
Sarah was recognised alongside bestselling author Kate Mosse CBE, who was named Public Library Champion 2026 for her work supporting reading and libraries.
