Join us this summer for a series of exciting music workshops open to all children, with some sessions specially tailored for those with Special Educational Needs.
Across July and August, children can explore the world of music through fun, hands-on sessions led by experienced professionals. From trying out different families of orchestral instruments to group drumming, singing, and exploring music from around the world, there’s something for everyone!
Activities include:
- Discovery Workshops – Rotate through brass, woodwind, strings, and percussion in 2-hour taster sessions.
- African Drumming – Learn the djembe in an energetic group setting.
- Gamelan Music – Discover traditional Indonesian instruments and rhythms.
- Steelpan Band – Get a taste of Caribbean music and perform with others.
- Singing Day – Join a choir for the day and perform with guidance from vocal specialists.
- SEN-Friendly Sessions – Designed with sensory and interactive activities for children with additional needs.
Many sessions end with informal performances for families to enjoy.
