Planned maintenance and repair work at the purpose-built road and BMX track at Redbridge Cycling Centre is taking place this autumn.

Following the end of the summer season, we have temporarily closed the centre to allow maintenance and resurfacing of the track to take place. This is a well-used and loved facility that welcomes thousands of visitors a year, and it’s important we repair any damage and keep the track in top condition.

We are also upgrading the materials used, installing a state-of-the-art membrane beneath the asphalt to ensure its longevity. It is for this reason that, regrettably, both the cycling track and BMX track will be closed whilst these upgrades are undertaken.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience, and will keep you updated as work progresses, which will be taking place as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming cyclists back to the centre in the near future.
