FLOOD

It’s 2030, the world’s oceans have become volatile, dangerous and unable to sustain life.
3 strangers meet on the high seas. A storm is coming. FLOOD by Theatre Temoin is a new, interactive outdoor spectacle. Using circus, music and acrobatics, FLOOD takes you on an epic adventure to understand how our coastline and communities have become ‘seasick’. Standing under your own personalised ‘sound umbrella’, FLOOD will take you far beyond your front door and into the eye of the storm. FLOOD is watery acrobatic adventure that makes a splash (literally).
Flood is inspired by an imaginary conversation between the UK coastal communities and the world’s oceans as both are feeling ‘seasick’. Content created from hours of conversations with communities across the UK. FLOOD is fully BSL integrated and used dynamic movement and acrobatics, immersive sound umbrella’s and a splashing set which helps create in immersive and fun audience experience.
There will be a pre-show touch tour;
🌂Visually impaired audience members are invited to come early to feel around the set, speak to the actors, feel costumes.
🌂D/deaf audience members can find a good seat to see the BSL interpreter clearly and the BSL integrated acting.
🌂Find out information on the water effects, splash zone and how far back to sit if you would like to stay dry. (Umbrellas will be provided)
Touch tour times for FLOOD are:
Saturday 22 July 10:40am and 1:40pm (Ken Aston
Square, Barkingside)
Sunday 23 July 12:40pm and 2:40pm (Ilford Town
