Corporate Volunteering

Want to do something positive for the environment with your team?
Redbridge has some of London’s best visitor locations for Nature Conservation (including Hainault Forest and Fairlop Waters). Our corporate volunteer package has been designed for easy tube access from central London.

What’s included on the day

Activities
Activities are season specific and dependant on what the management plan requires for a particular site. Here are some examples of activities but are not guaranteed:
- Native tree planting – winter months only
- Tree care – removing competitive plants around tree bases, mulching
- Woodland work – managing our woods including coppicing, woodland rides and glades
- Meadow management – to benefit bees
- Natural flood management
- Training you on citizen science projects – Spring / summertime butterfly transect surveys
Our corporate volunteering package is available in these green spaces:
Hainault Forest
- We offer corporate volunteering on the second week of each month
- Corporate workdays can take place on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
- This must be agreed with Vision staff and failure to do so may end in cancellation with no refund
Valentines Park, Fairlop Waters & Ray Park
- We offer corporate volunteering days on Monday and Fridays throughout the year
Timings of the day:
- A volunteer workday is 4 hours long, between 10 am to 2pm, with two breaks; 11am tea/coffee and 12:30pm lunch
- Sessions will end at 2pm
- You will need to arrive by 9:30am for a briefing session
- There will be a post session clear up and debrief between 2-3pm
What we don’t include
- Lunch
- Safety boots, any type of footwear/clothing
- Waterproofs
- Sun cream
- Transport costs or onsite parking fees
- Water bottles
Pricing
We charge £1,200 plus VAT for a maximum of 15 participants as this is a management size for us per leader. We may be able to negotiate up to 20 participants, charged at an extra cost.
