Jane Austen, one of England’s most beloved authors, was born on 16 December 1775 in Steventon, Hampshire. This year marks the 250th anniversary of her birth, and to celebrate this special occasion, we are delighted to offer charming events during Women’s History Month. Join us for an elegant afternoon tea, featuring lively conversation, occasional readings, and games to test your Austen knowledge.
If you would like to dress in Regency attire for the occasion, we would be delighted! Additionally, if you would like to prepare a short reading from your favourite Jane Austen novel or share your thoughts on a beloved Austen character, we warmly welcome your contributions. From the sensible Elinor Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility to the spirited Emma Woodhouse in Emma, Austen’s characters have captivated generations of readers, and we would love to hear about your favourites.
Tickets: £3.50 per person, including tea, coffee, lemonade, cucumber sandwiches, and elegant sweet treats.
Please note: we are only able to cater for vegetarian dietary requirements. Soya milk will be available, along with a selection of herbal teas.
Suitable for ages 16+.

Learn how to:
– download the NHS App (you will need to bring photo ID)
– order repeat prescriptions
– access your GP health record
– contact your GP
For the session:
– please bring your smartphone
– you can bring a nominated person if you do not have your own smartphone, or would prefer to have someone else manage your NHS app
– you need to be able to download apps onto your phone (e.g. know your login to your app store, or have biometrics activated)
– photo ID accepted (passport, UK driving licence, UK residence card, UK biometric residence permit, CitizenCard, European driving licence (full), European national identity card, valid UK entry clearance visa sticker). If you don’t have one of these please request a linkage key from your GP

This drop-in is offered in partnership with London Borough of Redbridge Public Health Team.
During school holidays, we run popular Water sports camps to keep your kids entertained at Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre. The multi-activity week includes sailing, kayaking, canoeing, raft building, bell boating and orienteering.
Timings daily are from 9.30am-4pm, with drop off from 9.15am and pick up by 4.15pm.
The course runs all week from Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Friday (26 August – 29 August). There is no daily booking option available.
Join our weekly after school club session.
Timings for the session are 4.30-6pm weekly.
The first 6 weeks will be sailing (subject to change due to weather conditions) – from 23rd April – 28th May.
Paddling will then start in June going forwards.
