Join Barkingside Art Club’s Creative Ambassadors to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month!
The Rickshaw Project is designed and delivered by the Creative Ambassadors, a collective of talented, young emerging artists, trained, nurtured, and developed by Barkingside Art Club’s founder Eliyah Qureshi.
The Rickshaw Project is a series of FREE, inclusive drop-in sessions where you will get the opportunity to ‘Design and Decorate your own Rickshaw’. Dive into the vibrant world of Rickshaw, create your very own sustainable masterpiece using cardboard and colourful shiny paper. We invite you to bring your culture, creativity and colour to this special project celebrating South Asia.
All sessions are FREE, inclusive and everyone is welcome!

Spectrum Studio celebrates South Asian Heritage Month on Sunday 21 July
Spectrum Studio is an arts programme and safe space designed for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Delivered by Barkingside Art Club to support families to take part in arts and cultural activities, to ensure they feel welcome, safe, and engaged.
To support the children, young people, and their families there will be a quiet room, and a separate space for music and dance activities. The venue is fully accessible with staff assistance available.
