Discover the art of origami in this fun and creative one-hour workshop! Perfect for children aged 8-10, with no prior experience needed – just bring your curiosity!

Guided by a young 9-year-old origami enthusiast, you will start by folding simple animal faces and then move on to a variety of other playful designs. This hands-on session is perfect for exploring creativity and learning the basics of paper folding. All materials will be provided—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to fold!

National Storytelling Week is a yearly event celebrating the creation, performance, and sharing of stories. Imagination and sharing can help your child develop literacy skills and empathy. Colouring pages and activity packs are available throughout the week.

Drop in after school and pick up an activity pack bursting with fun activities to celebrate National Puzzle Day!

Unlock the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence with our fun and interactive 5-lesson programme! If you’re aged 9–13 and curious about technology, this hands-on journey is for you! You’ll explore the basics of Machine Learning, find out how AI recognises images and makes predictions, discover how it works in robotics, and even design your own robot using craft materials.

With interactive tools like Teachable Machine and ChatGPT, you’ll spark your creativity, sharpen your critical thinking skills, and discover more about the technology shaping our world—all while having tons of fun!

Delivered by second year Computer Science UEL students. A ChatGPT login ID and password will be needed for the session. We kindly ask parents to create this for their child beforehand.

Suitable for children 9-13 years old. No previous experience necessary. This 5-week course will run one day a week, on Thursdays from 23 January to 27 February, term-time only. You will be expected to attend each session. Maria will give you a call to discuss this course in advance and confirm your booking.
