4 September – We’ll be helping to control overgrown scrubland areas, to enhance grassland habitats.

11 September – We’ll be continuing with some scrub removal in order to improve wetland habitats.

Meet: Claybury entrance on Ravensbourne Gardens, near junction with Wedmore Avenue, IG5 0XF

Day 2 of 3, you’ll join the Rangers to manage the ancient woodland for wildlife. We will continue our work in the area renowned for wood anemones.

We’re celebrating National Tree Week with Butterfly Conservation to plant dutch elm disease resistant trees to benefit white letter hairstreak butterflies.

Develop your Bushcraft Skills with Tinder Sticks. Spend the day carving your own pot hanger and sustaining your fire to boil water for a cup of tea.

Discover different ways to light a fire, have a go with natural tinders and blow an ember to a flame. Some prior basic bushcraft knowledge is required for this course.
