East London Theatre Company Presents Miss Julie at Redbridge Drama Centre
Following critically acclaimed runs at The Wanstead Curtain and The Courtyard Theatre in 2024, the East London Theatre Company (ELTC) brings August Strindberg’s incendiary masterpiece, Miss Julie, to Redbridge Drama Centre. Directed by Jon Fentiman, this production has garnered rave reviews for its raw intensity, faithful adherence to Strindberg’s naturalistic vision, and powerhouse performances from its trio of actors.

captivating ….. as good a production as you will see this year”
★★★★ (4 stars) – The Deskbound Dramatic: “An absolute success… compelling and controversial.”
★★★★ (4 stars) A Youngish Perspective: “Lets Strindberg’s exploration of class and gender shine without overcomplication.”
ELTC’s “visceral psycho-drama” promises an unforgettable night of theatre.
Book now for a limited run—a masterclass in tension, tragedy, and timeless relevance.

Unleash your imagination and join Patrick Gallagher, author of the unmissable Transcendent series, for an out-of-this-world creative writing workshop and learn how to create your very own action-packed adventure story.
Patrick Gallagher is a primary school teacher from South London with roots in Goa in India and Donegal in Ireland. Like lots of Goans of that generation, Patrick’s mother was born and raised in Uganda and the time he spent there inspired the spectacular backdrop to Transcendent. It draws not only on Patrick’s experience of dual heritage but every science-fiction and adventure story he devoured as a child.
