Famous War-Time tunes & “sing-a-long” songs brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the “Five Star Swing” band, (“Superb, they swing like crazy!” – Sheila Tracy, BBC). Featuring Simone from the latter days of the Ivy Benson Orchestra plus Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb and the BBC Radio Big Band.

Come get your face painted in the style of the tiger from ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’, the White Rabbit from ‘Alice in Wonderland’, or as Spiderman from the Spiderman comicbook series.

The session is running from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday 24 August at Hainault Library. There will be a £2 charge per child for the session, and is for children 4 to 9 years old.

Allen Fatimaharan bio:
Allen Fatimaharan was born in Sri Lanka, but grew up in Southern India and France. Now living in the UK, he works as an illustrator and animator. In 2018 he won second place in the FAB Prize for illustration. My Hair was his first picture book.
