IODS Presents Murder in Play.
Director Boris Smolensky’s budget repertory production of “Murder at Priorswell Manor” is looking decidedly shaky and that’s just the scenery. The cast are more interested in their egos than the play and life imitates art when Boris’s wife, Renee (the has been actress acting way below her age), is murdered on stage. Boris has his eyes on the young ingenue of a leading lady whilst all the characters you’d expect, from the has been actor who acted with Larry and wants everyone to know, to the perpetual understudy are there. Simon Brett’s hilarious text, a worthy companion to his Charles Paris theatrical thriller novels, ruthlessly satirizes the politics of the inept company and the numerous red herrings keep the audience guessing until the final moments of the play.

Having the WORST DAY EVER? Turn that frown upside down with this wiggling, hooting, roaring adventure based on the picture book by Sophy Henn.
Arthur is having the WORST DAY EVER. So he runs away – nearly to the end of the garden.
But when it’s time to go home, Arthur’s journey back is full of surprises and he learns how to turn a stomp into a skip, a huff into a hoot and a roar into a song!
Maybe Arthur’s day isn’t so bad after all…
Directed by Naomi Cortes and designed by Hannah Sharp for Discover Children’s Story Centre.
By arrangement with Simon & Schuster
