Join Itzatna Arts for a joyful Segni Mossi-inspired workshop exploring dance improvisation and intuitive drawing. We’ll honour our loved ones, celebrate community, and embrace the beauty of life and death. Inspired by Leonard Cohen’s “Dance me to the end of love,” let’s move, create, and have fun together!

Using paper and crayons, we’ll play with shapes, colours, and textures, culminating in a Moving Ofrenda to celebrate our journeys. Come dance and create with us!

Free, but limited spaces – booking essential!

Tess Tallula is an artist and author of two children’s books. Her work is multilayered and mixed media, blending textiles and craft techniques with traditional two and three dimensional art forms. In both her art practice and her storybooks, she navigates themes of memory, emotion, and interconnectedness, inviting viewers on their own introspective journeys. Saccharine memento mori, smiling skulls, flowers and ghostly spirits act as a way to process grief and celebrate the circularity of life and our place in the universe. These seemingly otherworldly or fantastical scenes are intensely familiar recreations of something innate and unspoken.

We are delighted to invite you to a very special event — the launch of the Ukrainian Children’s Reading Space at Redbridge Central Library. This milestone celebration brings 200 new children’s books in Ukrainian to London, encouraging a love of reading and cultural connection within the community.

The books were generously donated thanks to a charity music festival organised by the Redbridge Ukrainian Community Centre in support of Ukrainian children.

The event will feature:

  • A children’s book reading and signing with Ukrainian author Oleksandra Dikaia
  • A live piano fairy-tale performance by composer Mariya Yaremak
  • A creative workshop for children to design their own fairy-tale characters
  • An opportunity for families to explore and borrow the new collection
