Calling all young people to be part of an exciting community project led by the Barkingside Art Club Creative Ambassadors. Celebrate diversity, acceptance, and tolerance through art.
Help us collect and recycle plastic bottles to create a stunning Rainbow Bottle Arch of Vision in Fullwell Cross Library. Take part in sharing your vision for a more inclusive, colourful community and together, let’s make a positive change!
- Friday 4pm-5pm (4-16 years): Feb 9th and 16th
- Friday 5pm-7pm (For SEND Girls): Feb 9th and 16th
- Saturday 10.15am-11.30am (4-7 years): Feb 10th and 17th
- Saturday 11.30am-1.30pm (8-16 years): Feb 10th and 17th
- Saturday 1.30pm-2.30pm (SEND 8-18 years): Feb 10th and 17th

This event is part of our LGBT+ History Month celebrations.

Track the Code – where science and art come together for this special exhibition at Valentines Mansion. An exceptional collection of work by a group of talented young artists aged between 8 and 16 years, who through their art express one of the most common patterns known as Nature’s Sacred Code.
Join us for a guided tour of Valentines Mansion and delve into over 320 years of fascinating history. Followed by tea and biscuits in one of our period rooms.
The Artists’ Open Studios is one of the most popular events in our calendar. Head to the top floor of Valentines Mansion where our talented makers will welcome you into their creative workspace. Browse incredible paintings, intricate basketry, carefully crafted ceramics, dazzling glass art and much more. Meet the makers themselves and watch how their work is made.
We want to showcase the talent of Disabled People. Are you a maker, creator or budding entrepreneur?
The 10 week creative enterprise programme includes:
a) Specialist creative classes to learn new skills
b) Group creative sessions making together
c) Enterprise and business skills workshops
d) Experience of designing a product range
e) Experience of coordinating an exhibition
f) Sales and marketing experience online and in-person
Sessions will run every Thursday between 15 February and 2 May 2024 and there will be an opportunity to sell at a Market Stall.
