Triple P Positive Parenting Program

Event Image

Redbridge Libraries (in conjunction with Triple P Positive Parenting Program) are offering parents and carers five bite-sized workshops, focused on key areas of parenting during your child’s early years.

Whilst parenting a child can be extremely rewarding, there are common challenges which all parents and carers face as their children grow up. In these free workshops, we will look at some different approaches to these challenges, and give you an opportunity to choose an approach that suits you.

Each session has a different, in-depth focus –

These 2-hour discussion groups can be taken as a stand-alone session or as part of an integrated series.  The group will be facilitated by an accredited Triple P practitioner and will include discussion of positive parenting strategies, active skills training, problem solving and developing a personalised parenting plan. It’s an opportunity to connect with other parents in a safe environment, and connect with others facing similar parenting challenges.

Please note, to facilitate discussion we advise against bringing your children to these sessions.

Booking essential – sessions are free, though space is limited.

Triple P is an initiative which has been developed by the Parenting and Support centre at the University of Queensland and includes a series of parent discussion groups on common parenting issues. The discussion groups are designed to provide an overview and introduction to the principles of positive parenting applied to the specific discussion topic for early years.
