This year the holistic and wellbeing zone at Wanstead Festival has expanded with over five facilitators offering various sessions to help improve your wellbeing. From meditation, to laughter yoga and Art of Living – pioneers in breathwork and meditation. For more information, please see the individual listings below:
For this practice we will focus on silence. Learning or strengthening our ability to find the silence amidst the chaos of the mind and heart. |

Using a sequence of acupuncture points on the body, we will use the Thought Field Therapy technique to release and let go of stressful emotions and feelings that can create burdens on our system. |

Adrian learned Tai Chi when he was young, from the old master back in Malaysia. Adrian runs Tai Chi sessions at various community spaces across East London. This session includes 5 animals qigong exercise followed by a simplified Yang style Tai chi 24 forms for mental wellbeing and physical health. |

The Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) has been founded by Brahmarshi Patriji in the year 1990 with the objective of spreading the basics of spiritual realities and spiritual science to one and all. “PSSM” began as “The Kurnool Spiritual Society” in the year 1990.
Today, “PSSM” comprises of more than a couple of thousands of independent and autonomous pyramid spiritual societies involving millions of active members and volunteers across all states in India. Also in twenty other countries, e.g., USA, UK, UAE, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Egypt, South Africa, and others.
“PSSM” is a non-religious, non-cult, non-for-profit spirituo scientific organization/movement with an ever-growing expanse of genuine seekers.
The CORE MESSAGE to everyone is that “We are not just physical entities experiencing random existence. Instead, we are `Eternal Energy-Consciousness—Wisdom(ECW) Entities’ .. constantly choosing and creating our own respective on-going existential realities.”
We realize god-hood in us through four simple things :

- Utilizing Pyramid Energy for Meditation
- Trying to understand all the Essential Teachings of the world’s Spiritual Masters
- Being a vegetarian and being compassionate to all our younger brothers i.e., members of the Animal Kingdom
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK), a registered charity since 1975, opens its doors every day of the year to students from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds to study Raja Yoga meditation.
Students find that meditating in this way daily brings a lot of peace and positivity to their lives. We also join together with many national and local organization’s and diverse communities, helping to enhance the wellbeing of people in different spheres of society. We work across the UK in more than 40 locations and are part of a network of organizations offering activities in over 110 countries.
