Fabula Reading Challenge for Younger Children
It’s never too early to start your child’s love of books and reading. When you start to read to your child as a baby or toddler, it helps them feel comforted and secure. It relaxes them, helps build their confidence, happiness, and sense of fun. It also builds self-esteem, vocabulary, feeds imagination and even improves their sleeping patterns!
Reading to children is one of the best ways for them to hear language. Children who hear a lot of language do better in school!
Now you know how good reading with your toddler is, why not get your little one their very own library card and take part in the Fabula Reading Challenge with them this summer?
You’ll help them collect a sticker for every book you read to them. And by regularly reading with your toddler, you will set them on a path of later independent reading.
