Terms and Conditions

Refunds

  • Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable.
  • Please let us know if you can no longer attend a performance so that we can try and re-sell your tickets where possible. This is at the discretion of our box office staff and can only be re-sold in the event that a performance is sold out.
  • In the event that live performances are not permitted to go ahead because of local or national Government restrictions, or we are unable to present the performance, customers will be offered to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled performance, a credit note or full refund. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from issue date.

Seating

  • For performances at Redbridge Drama Centre – our Lovegrove Theatre seats 130 rows A and B are on the same floor level, with raked seating starting at row C. We have up to 6 wheelchair spaces available, depending on the performance. Our Telford Studio seats 72 and row A is on floor level.
  • For performances at Kenneth More Theatre row A is on floor level with raked seating starting at row B. We have 5 wheelchair spaces available. There are two staircases separating the three blocks of seating. There are entrances at the front and back of the auditorium.
  • We reserve the right to ask customers to move if neccesary.
  • Some of our performances are BSL Interpreted. Trained British Signed Language (BSL) Signers will stand to one side of the stage and intepret the script used by the performers at the same time as it is being performed.
  • Our online booking system doesn’t allow customers to leave single seats unsold. We do this in order to prevent gaps and empty seats in the auditorium.
  • We reserve the right to provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket in exceptional circumstances.

Performances

  • We reserve the right to cancel or alter an advertised programme if necessary by unavoidable causes. For this reason please ensure the Box Office has your correct contact details or that you update them online.
  • Strobe lighting, smoke effects, loud bangs, gun shots and loud sound effects are sometimes used in our performances. Details of these will be advertised before a performance.
  • We do not have cloakroom facilities and are unable to store large bags, suitcases or buggys. Large items including buggys, car seats and prams are not allowed in the Theatre.
  • We rely on the visiting company for information on suitability and recommended age restrictions (Eg. Bad language, nudity, adult themes), and will publicise this information wherever possible.

Admittance

  • Drinks are only permitted in the plastic cups provided.
  • Where possible we will admit latecomers into a performance at a suitable point, at the discretion of the Front Of House Staff. However this is not always possible, and we cannot offer refunds to customers who arrive late.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or to request any ticket holder to leave the premises.
  • The use of mobile phones during a performance is prohibited. Please ensure that all mobile phones are silenced before the performance.
  • The use of audio or visual recording equipment is not permitted during performances.

Tickets

  • If you have any access requirements please let us know when booking.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticket holder who is at least 18 years old.
  • Children under 12 months are free of charge.
  • For concessionary tickets a valid proof of eligibility will be requested when collecting tickets.
  • Guests with accessible needs are entitled to one free companion ticket. Additional companion tickets can be purchased at the concessionary rate where applicable.
  • A £1.50 Theatre Maintenance Levy will be added to all tickets. This is a ring fenced amount that goes directly to the Theatre. Every single restoration levy we receive from you will go into improving the venue. 
  • We sell the majority of our tickets via our website and in-house Box Office. Occasionally we sell tickets via a small number of third party organisations or via the touring production company’s website. If you aren’t sure whether a third party is an official agent for Kenneth More Theatre tickets, please contact our Box Office.
