Our Nature Conservation Team is proud to announce the very first Annual Apple Festival, celebrating the delicious, locally grown produce of Redbridge.

Across our Vision Parks – including Hainault Forest, Roding Valley Park, and Claybury Park – we care for several thriving orchards. This summer, our dedicated volunteers joined the team for a series of harvest days, helping us gather an impressive crop of fresh apples – over half a tonne picked straight from the trees!

From field to fork, these apples are making their way to 1856 Café at Hainault Forest, where our chefs have created a special treat for the week: homemade apple crumble with custard.

• Children eat free! From 1–5 September, every children’s meal comes with a complimentary apple crumble and custard, helping to make “five a day” even more fun.

• A treat for adults too – enjoy a portion for just £3.50.
