Come and join in the fun craft activities we have and see what you can learn to make and take home!

Our fantastic children’s arts and crafts activities run throughout the year.

As there are limited craft supplies for each arts and crafts session, seats are on a first come first served basis.

No booking required, just turn up and join in!

Babies love books so it’s never too early to bring your child to the library. Enjoy stories and songs together with your child and meet other parents and children.

These weekly events are suitable for under 5s. They are FREE and no booking is required but please arrive on time.

During busy periods, we may need to limit numbers to accommodate everyone safely.

Welcome to Forest Explorers, a bushcraft programme for 6-11 year olds run by Tinder Sticks! Develop your outdoor confidence and skills by having fun at Hainault Forest.

Come and celebrate Halloween in the Forest by making mask / headress, enjoying the campfire and cook some snacks over it. Learn about the Old English Traditions around Halloween.

Children must be supervised by an adult for the duration of the session.

Welcome to Wild Adventures, a bushcraft programme for 12-18 year olds, run by Tinder Sticks! Develop your outdoor confidence and skills by having fun at Hainault Forest.

Stock up your medicine cabinet for winter and make some elderberry cough mixture and rosehip lip balm around the campfire. Hainault Forest has a no foraging policy, all ingredients will be collected responsibly from woodlands with permission to forage. Please bring a clean, empty jam jar or leak proof container for your cough mixture!

Please note: these sessions are not safe for under 12s due to the use of tools and more advanced skills and topics, under 12s will not be allowed to take part and your ticket will be cancelled without a refund.

Come and immerse yourself in an hour of fascinating storytelling with Jane Grell who will captivate you with songs, games, poems and stories from the Caribbean and West Africa, exploring Black History both ancient and contemporary. With lots of audience participation and interaction – it’s sure to be great fun!

Children must be accompanied at all times.  Only one adult per child.

This performance is part of Black History Month
