Explore what creatures live underwater in Hainault Forest. We will use pond dipping equipment to find out what creatures live in the lake.

We will stay on dry land as we dip nets into the lake from a platform. All equipment will be provided along with ID guides to help identify your discoveries.

Because this activity takes place next to open water the maximum group number is 5 children. Siblings will not be able to take part unless they have a pre-booked ticket too.

This session is for children aged 6+ only.

Take a morning tour around Foxburrows Farm, discover the animals that live here, and help to give some of them their breakfast.

Starting before the Farm is open to the public, this tour will teach you about the animals that we have on the farm, including how some can help to manage the forest. There will also be the opportunity to feed some animals (please note that we cannot guarantee feeding specific animals)

The tour will last approximately 50 minutes. The tour will start promptly at 9am

Visiting a farm is an enjoyable experience, but does carries a small risk of catching infection from animals or the environment, Particularly for those who are young, elderly, immunocompromised or pregnant. Health and safety information will be given at the start, and a link is provided here for more information: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5cbef14440f0b649e50f9d9e/Farm_visits_avoiding_infection.pdf

As it is difficult to stop very young children putting their hands in their mouths after touching the animals, we advise that children under 3 years old do not attend the farm tour.

Join us for an exciting minibeast hunt this half-term! Explore the forest to find some of the creatures that crawl, buzz and wiggle.

This event is suitable for families, it is recommended for children aged 6-11 and will involve walking to a site and searching for minibeasts. This activity will last approximately 90 minutes.

Redbridge Adult Theatre Group Presents… THE REAL ESTATE

A sharply observed, epic play combining elements of social realism and satire, which asks: who do our homes really belong to, and who gets to tell our stories?

A tower block in central London is bought by private developers. Their plan is to raise rents, forcing the current tenants out.

But the residents won’t give up their homes that easily. Recruiting the help of a film crew already shooting on the estate, they take on big business – and come face to face with their history in the process.

(prices include £1.50 Theatre Maintenance Levy)
