Join the Bunny Adventures on an egg-cellent adventure this Easter! Can you find all the hidden letters that spell out a secret word?

Drop-in, no need to book, just hop to the Welcome Desk to get started.

The trail is inspired by Bloomsbury’s We’re Going on an Egg Hunt by Martha Mumford and illustrated by Laura Hughes and is part of the Bunny Adventures series – a perfect collection for young children, full of exciting adventures and fun lift-the-flap pages.

We will be reviving the art of BLOCK PRINTING. You will be learning about block printing, researching the internet and creating designs and patterns. It will be an exciting journey and in May we will be showcasing our work in a grand exhibition, where all your work will be displayed.

Everything will be provided so you don’t have to worry about buying anything.

Exhibition will take place 25 May in Redbridge Central Library, Ilford

Join us for wonderful stories, rhymes and songs while making new friends! Our Rhyme Time sessions are for parents to attend with their children.

No need to book, just turn up.

Become a scientist for the day!

It is British Science Week. Join us and explore the wonders of Science through exciting experiments and quirky fun.
This can be a messy activity, please wear clothes you do not mind getting messy.

You will also receive a goody bag to take home after participation!

Welcome to Forest Explorers, a bushcraft programme for 6-11 year olds run by Tinder Sticks! Develop your outdoor confidence and skills by having fun at Hainault Forest.

Why is it so important to have a good shelter? How can you be prepared? Have a go at putting up a tarp shelter and find out the best way to make a debris shelter from branches and twigs.

Welcome to Wild Adventures, a bushcraft programme for 12-18 year olds, run by Tinder Sticks! Develop your outdoor confidence and skills by having fun at Hainault Forest.

Woodland Tools. Saws, knives, axes and hand drills….learn how to use all of these tools safely and create a craft project to take home! Look out for our intermediate level event later in the year – you must attend an introductory level event to qualify for the intermediate level.

Branching Out Forest School with Tinder Sticks CIC builds outdoor confidence, resilience, and resourcefulness. Come and join us and give your child the chance to experience bushcraft, nature crafts, wild art, nature connectedness, campfire cooking and to build community with one another. Runs weekly during term time with seasonal themed sessions throughout.

Welcome to Little Acorns Forest School with Tinder Sticks CIC, where we aim to build outdoor confidence in the under 5’s and their parents / carers.

Stay & play fun in the Forest! Wild play, nature crafts, wild art projects, exploring the woods, discover the minibeasts, getting muddy, getting cozy round the campfire, snuggling for stories, swinging in the hammocks! There’s lots to do every week and different seasonal themes throughout the term.

Runs weekly during term time and open to all preschool age children (ideally over 18months old).

Join Tinder Sticks and bring the tribe to the woods! Learn how to use a bushcraft knife (over 8’s only) and whittle and amazing campcraft project! Learn how to make a shelter from the bits and bobs in the forest (no tarps this time!). Learn how to make string from plants and which ones you can use in your First Aid Kit.
